Cut/Copy/Paste
Cut/Copy/Paste is only available in True Connect Pro.

True Connect allows information to be shared between the device and PC by supporting Copy/Cut and Paste. This is a useful feature for easily creating new information on the device, or, copying already stored information on the device to your PC.  Additionally, you can also use Cut/Copy/Paste to share information between applications on the device.

If using a Touch-Screen device True connect offers the ability to enable or disable clipboard sharing.  See Clipboard Sharing.

There is no concept of highlighting text to Cut/Copy on a non Touch Screen device, therefore performing a Copy or a Cut on the device will copy the entire contents of the edit field that currently has the focus.

  4. Move the mouse pointer onto the PC and navigate to the location the text should be pasted.
  5. Use Ctrl-V to Paste the text in the clipboard to the PC.  The text you copied/cut from the device will now appear on the PC.
