The ability to use the PC keyboard on the device using True Connect means that text can quickly and efficiently be entered onto the device without the need to use the numeric keypad of the Smartphone or the stylus virtual keyboard of the Touch-Screen device.

Imagine how quickly you will be able to use the most frequently used applications, or, alter the settings of the device, when using True Connect.

In order to use the keyboard on the device using True Connect, firstly a connection needs to be established with the device. In order to establish a connection please refer to Establishing a Connection

Once a connection has been established, you are now able to control the device using the mouse and keyboard. Using the keyboard for example you can:

• Enter/alter text of any editable field on the device.  e.g. Enter Contact names, change settings etc.
• Use Cut/Copy/Paste.  See Cut/Copy/Paste (True Connect Pro Only)
• Navigate the device using the cursor keys in the same way the device joystick/cursor keys are used.
• Use predefined smart keys to action the predefined buttons on the device, such as HOME or BACK. See Configuration - Keys tab
• On the Smartphone, use the number keys to map to the keypad.
