One of the key benefits of True Connect is the ability to control the
device using the PC mouse.
This control allows you to easily use your devices desktop, select menu options and open and use applications.
Firstly a connection needs to be established with the device. In order to establish a connection please refer to
Establishing a Connection
Once a connection has been established, you are now able to control the device using the mouse and keyboard. For example you can:
- Click on the desktop to invoke applications such as email and
the calendar,
- Use the Start menu to navigate to applications,
- Click on controls within dialogs,
- Click the right-mouse button to go back to the previously
running application,
- If using a Touch-Screen device you can click and hold the left
mouse button to display context sensitive menus.
- If using a non Touch-Screen device, click and holding the
right mouse button will activate the Navigation Buttons
There are a small number of areas where point and click will not operate on
non Touch-Screen devices. See
Mouse Limitations . All of these limitations can be overcome by using
the Navigation Buttons and/or the Wheel mouse.
