If using the On Screen Connect feature the position of the device in relation to the monitor dictates the side the On Screen Connect tab will appear (depending on the On Screen Device Settings). |
To set the device's position in relation to the monitor:
The pictorial display represents where the device is in
relation to the PC desktop. The position of the device can be changed by
dragging the device to place it anywhere around the edge of the desktop.
A cyan indicator on the desktop will provide a visual
indication of the side of the monitor that will activate True Connect
when the cursor is dragged off that side of the monitor.
For example:
|
Will result in the cursor appearing on the device if the mouse pointer is dragged off the left-hand side of the monitor. |
|
Will result in the cursor appearing on the device if the mouse pointer is dragged off the right-hand side of the monitor. |
|
Will result in the cursor appearing on the device if the mouse pointer is dragged off the bottom of the monitor. |
|
If the PC has two monitors attached, then the display will represent both these desktops on the True Connect Position tab. |
The following
options of On Screen Connect are configurable from the Position Tab.
If you are using True Connect Lite then these options will not be
accessible.
| Option | Action |
| On | Setting the "On" checkbox sets True Connect into On Screen Connect mode. Dragging the mouse pointer off the edge of the monitor to control the device is no longer operational in this mode. |
| Zoomed | Checking the "Zoomed" option sets True Connect to always display the On Screen Connect window in a Zoom X2 state. |
| Pinned | When Pinned the On Screen Connect window is displayed as always set to a pinned state meaning the window will not hide itself when the mouse is moved off the On Screen Connect window. |
Press Apply or OK to activate all changes.
