Using a Wheel Mouse
In addition to left and right buttons, many modern day PC mice support a wheel device. Typically when using a PC, this wheel is used to scroll the contents of lists or windows.

True Connect supports mice that have a wheel input as follows:

Wheel Mouse Function Device  Action
Wheel backwards Simulates a DOWN action. For example if using the Start Menu a wheel backwards will move the selection down the list of menu items.
Wheel forwards Simulates an UP action. For example if using the Start Menu a wheel forwards will move the selection up the list of menu items.
Wheel click Smartphone
Simulates a joystick press action for the currently selected item.

Touch-Screen Device
Simulates a tap action for the currently selected item.

For example if using the Start Menu a wheel click will invoke the currently selected menu item.
SHIFT
Wheel forwards
Simulates a LEFT action.  For example in the month view of Calendar, SHIFT wheel forward will move the selection left one day.
SHIFT
Wheel backwards
Simulates a RIGHT action.  For example in the month view of Calendar, SHIFT wheel back will move the selection right one day.
Tilt Mouse Support If using a mouse that supports horizontal tilt movement then this peripheral will simulate the same actions as "SHIFT Wheel forwards" and "SHIFT Wheel backwards" (See above).

The wheel mouse is often useful for scrolling lists of contacts or emails.

If using a mouse that does not support the wheel functionality then use the Navigation Buttons or cursor keys to achieve the same results.
