Version 2.0 adds the On Screen Connect feature, allowing users to see and control their Windows Mobile devices on their PC monitor. A German language version is also now available.

Ipswich, Suffolk, United Kingdom -- 16th January 2007 -- Raspberry Software are delighted to announce the release of True Connect Version 2.0. This version builds on the award-winning success of the Version 1.1 release by adding On Screen Connect. Users can now use their mouse and keyboard to control their device using a window on the PC desktop, as well as by dragging the mouse onto the device itself. When On Screen Connect is enabled, the device screen is tucked away behind a tab on the edge of the PC monitor, ready to be pulled out when the mouse hovers over the tab.

True Connect is a unique product that allows you to use the mouse and keyboard of your PC to directly control the applications and data of your Windows Mobile device. As well as being able to control touch-screen devices True Connect remains the only product on the market that allows you to control non touch-screen devices using the mouse. Control is initiated by simply moving the mouse cursor off the PC monitor, onto the connected mobile device screen, or by using the On Screen Connect feature. You simply control your mobile device the same way you control your PC. Typical examples of uses of True Connect include initiating handsfree calls, cutting and pasting text between the device and the PC, and configuring the device, all using the PC mouse and keyboard. True Connect enables consumers to gain more from their investment in their Windows Mobile device.
